I was seen by Dr. Som on August 31st, 2026 and her gave me an order for an MRI W/WO contrast which I had on September 10th at an Inova Facility in Leesburg, Va. I obtained a copy of the study and mailed it via regular mail to the Annapolis office to Dr. Som's attention. Further, I provided the facility with the offices fax number and requested they fax a copy of the MRI report and findings once it had been read and finalized. Today, I received the report in my Inova MyChart portal. I don't have full confidence that the MRI report was forwarded via facsimile to Dr. Som's attention and I have the ability to forward the report contained in my MyChart portal to Dr. Som via email. Could someone please provide me with the correct email where I should send the copy of the MRI report so that I can feel assured that Dr. Som can both review the actual imaging contained on the disc which I have already mailed to the office and review the findings of the reviewing radiologist contained in the final MRI report. A prompt response would be greatly appreciated as time may very well of the essence given my history of Stage IV Squamous Cell Carcinoma on the left base of my tongue and my later diagnosis of severe radiation induced Osteoradionecrosis of my left mandible.
